Thank you everyone who came out today! Today we had approximately 24 new patients, and out of those new patients 22 of them were Koreans! Thanks to our tabling at the Korean Cultural Festival last weekend, a teacher at a local Korean center attended the festival and recommended her students to visit the clinic.

Another exciting news is that we started our surveys this month! It is to find out how much our patients know about hepatitis B and to be able to see how effective our education program is.

From today’s clinic, we learned that maybe one good way of doing outreach is to visit community center or classes to encourage a group of people to visit together. Also, special thanks to Serena Hsia who came all the way from San Jose and Austin Kwong for volunteering at Autumn Moon Festival after Mt. Zion!
