Diabetes, Hypertension, Cholesterol Screening at Autumn Moon Festival
VHIO will be helping with interpretation for UCSF at the 7th Annual Sunset District Autumn Moon Festival on Saturday, September 3rd from 10AM-5PM. We are expecting a large turn-out of Chinese-speaking patients!

Upcoming Health Fair for Children
Wu Yee Hospital needs our help screening children for height and weight measuring, vision screening, nutrition education. Although they are expecting many Chinese-speaking patients, it is a good opportunity for all language groups to gain basic clinical health fair experience
Korean Outreach Update
We are continuing to volunteer at monthly KCHS clinics. The BMI/BP clinic takes place at the recently established Oakland Senior Center. The Hep B vaccination clinic has been focusing on outreach to recruit more patients. It seems difficult for Koreans
