Here's a shot of the VHIO Chinese Department at our last health fair with UOP Medicare Part D! Our interpreters guided seniors through a series of stations where they could check their blood pressure, cholesterol levels, cognitive state, ability to balance, and risk of anemia and osteoporosis. They also had the opportunity to help patients understand the titular Medicare Part D, as they worked with UOP student pharmacists to help clients understand their health insurance as it pertains to medication. (A big thank you to the volunteers who came out!)
