LEADERSHIP

AILEEN CHUAH

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONAL AFFAIRS, DIRECTOR OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS & PUBLICITY COORDINATOR
Molecular & Cell Biology

Hey y'all! This is Aileen. I am a senior majoring in MCB and minoring in Nutritional Science. Joining VHIO during my freshman is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I was able to meet and befriend with numerous amazing people through the DeCal training and volunteering events. Growing up as a so-called third-culture kid, I understand the struggle of changing environments and adapting to new cultures and languages. VHIO offered me the opportunity to use my linguistic abilities to interpret for the LEP community and advocate for their right to receive healthcare services. I feel extremely grateful to continue as one of the directors in the upcoming school year. Looking forward to having another great year with you all!
